A Virus on the Beach

A tourist gets trapped in Goa's brutal trafficking network.

Goa is a happy place. People come to relax on the beaches and enjoy the night life. All good fun, right? But out of sight, in the shadows, a sordid trade in trafficking young women is thriving. This is the ‘virus’ on the beach that gives the novel its title: the lucrative flesh trade. No one can stop it. And if anyone is foolish enough to try, he puts his own life at risk. People who know the Candolim area of North Goa will recognize many of the locations.
